Dr. Daniel David is a leader in developing, implementing and managing quality and performance improvement initiatives that meet the combined needs of physicians, health systems, payers and patients. As medical director for a PHO and managed care provider network, Dr. David’s work with network development and management, credentialing, medical/utilization management, managed care contracting and disease management helped increase profitability while enabling enhanced cost and quality results.

A respected faculty member of the James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University, Dr. David has 26 years of teaching and clinical experience and spent 14 years as director of residency training with progressive organizational management and leadership success. He was a Governor’s Appointee – Technical Advisory Group, Tennessee Health Care Innovation Initiative, 2015.

Dr. David graduated from the University Of Virginia School Of Medicine, completing his residency in Family Practice and a mini-fellowship in Quality Improvement in Healthcare at Intermountain Healthcare, Salt Lake City, UT.
